How We Use Your DataWe use your data to provide AI responses, maintain your account and campaign memory, improve the App, and handle support requests.Our legal bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract (delivering the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (improving the App and preventing abuse), and legal compliance where required.4. AI Processing and Third PartiesChat messages are sent to third-party AI providers, currently including OpenAI, solely to generate responses. These providers do not use your conversations to train their models. We have data processing agreements in place with all AI providers we use.We use Firebase (Google LLC) for app infrastructure, authentication, and analytics. Firebase processes data on our behalf as a data processor under a data processing agreement. International TransfersSome processing occurs in the United States (including by AI service providers and Firebase). We use Standard Contractual Clauses and other transfer safeguards approved by the UK ICO to ensure your data remains protected.7. Data Retention- Account and character data: retained while your account is active
- Chat history: retained while your account is active, or until you delete it within the App
- Usage data: maximum 12 monthsIf you close your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.8. Eligibility and AccountsYou must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.2. Subscriptions and Purchases- Squire (Free): Limited daily usage at no charge.
- Knight (Paid): Expanded usage via monthly or annual subscription.
- Founder's Pack: A limited one-time purchase available to the first 100 users only. The Founder's Pack provides access to Knight-tier features for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. After this period, continued access will require a standard subscription at the then-current annual rate. Once the 100-user limit is reached, the Founder's Pack will no longer be available.All payments, billing, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms and refund policy. We do not collect or store payment card information.3. Acceptable UseYou may not use the App to:- Generate illegal, abusive, harmful, or exploitative content of any kind, including any content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate any real person
- Bypass, circumvent, or abuse usage limits or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code, AI logic, or underlying systems
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose under applicable UK or international lawViolations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund, at our sole discretion.4. User ContentYou retain ownership of the characters, descriptions, and other content you create within the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and use this content solely to provide the service to you.We do not use your chat conversations to train AI models.5. Apple App Store TermsIf you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following terms apply:- Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of Licence: Your licence to use the App is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Maintenance and Support: We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty: We are responsible for any product warranties. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation.
- Product Claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, regulatory compliance claims, and consumer protection claims.
